There’s usually a bunch of bananas on our dining room table, but tomorrow we’re going to where bananas grow on trees. We’re off on a much-needed holiday to KwaZulu Natal!
Upon my return, I’ll be launching a new teatowel design in my Etsy shop. I’m very excited about this one because it’s a bit of a collaboration with some other bloggers.
All will be revealed when I get back to Cape Town on 2 September.
Oh, all right then. Here’s a sneak peek…
Now, which banana palm shall I nap under? But first, a swim in the warm Indian ocean. Ahhhh.
PS: Thanks so much for all the kind comments on my FT post yesterday. You really are the sweetest!

Ooh, what delicious colours – I can’t wait to see them in all their glory!
Have a fabulous holiday

Wishing you the most wonderful holiday. It sounds like a white sand and palmtree resort you are going to?! but please hurry back, I want to know what the photo is about!
Enjoy all the beautiful blues and greens
Wow, have a fantastic time!
I found out last week I’m going to visit my South African relations at Christmas! It will be the first time I’ve been back to SA since we moved to England when I was 2. 20 whole years later and I can barely contain myself at the thought of it! I’ll be staying in Cape Infanta for two weeks.
I have Lucie Summers to thank for getting me onto you, your work is gorgeous!
xx
