Mountain walk

Mountain walk
The Autumn weather descended on us over the weekend, and we felt it on our ears and noses when we took an evening walk on Table Mountain yesterday. I found lots of little treasures to draw.

I definitely admire your ability to find inspiration in the world as you experience it. I’d love to flip through your sketchbook. -X

Table Mountain is lovely to walk on. Did you walk up there yourself or go on that cable thingy? I love the animals there, but I can’t remember their names, the ones who are related to the elephant. Or so I was told!

    The drawings are lovely.

Thanks for the positive comments. Anna Laura, we’re lucky enough to live a (steep) walk away from the foot of the mountain, so we just walk on the contour paths there, and very seldom go right to the top! Those animals you’re thinking of are Dassies, or Hyraxes.
