Granny squares
I got this book at Milnerton Market on Sunday, just so that I could own all the gorgeous pics of this Granny Square Afghan.

I’m tempted to scan this one and blow it up and paper a wall with it.
And if you like this kind of thing, you’re going to love what Sandra’s been making, for sure.

Lovely! I’m trying to learn how to crochet right now … it’s beyond me at the moment. This looks particularly daunting!

Fantastic. Kind of seventies. One of my outstanding projects is making a granny square something, probably a cushion cover – I would love to produce something as marvellous as your picture!

I have the granny square sampler afghan! My mom made it for me when I first went away to school. She has this exact book. I love it.

How hilarious….I recently purchased this book used off Amazon for exactly the same reason…Once I saw that afghan, I had to have the book. I think there’s a Ravelry group about this particular afghan…but I haven’t had a chance to investigate that.
