Thanks for the pocketmoney

A huge thanks to everyone who came to my Seconds Sale on Saturday. It really was a great success, and I enjoyed it enormously. Loads of tea towels found themselves a new home, which made me very happy.

A big hit at the Sale was something I came up with just the day before to deal with all my offcuts and scraps. With the help of my darling Mom, we made up a heap of these Bags ‘o Scraps – little linen bags filled with very useful offcuts – and they sold like hotcakes.

I reckon these will make their way into my Etsy shop as soon as I return from my travels.

Once again, many thanks to everyone who helped me make some pocketmoney for our imminent trip, both in my online sale, and at my weekend sale. Your committment to a good cause is admirable :)

I hope you are not planning on shutting the blog down during your New York sojourn. It would make my mornings rather dull not to have my regular dose of creativity and craziness.

  • looks like it was a lot of fun! i saw a tweet about someone looking for a fabric – sort of abstract, red, deer …. and i directed her to your Duikers in red yardage. and that’s what she was looking for :)
