Popular Specimens
It’s so wierd how sometimes a design can be a bit of a sleeper. I did the Specimens cutout and screenprint ages ago, and it appeared to have run its course, as nobody seemed to be particularly interested in it any more, so I stopped punting it. Then, all of a sudden this week, everyone’s been after this little cushion in my shop. It’s all sold out now, so I’m feverishly getting more printed, eager to remain on this bandwagon.
But in the meantime, I’ve dug out the Specimens napkins that I’ve been lazy about listing, and now have ’em in my shop in sets of twos and threes.

I love that design of yours, and snapped up one of the napkins (in a beautiful silvery grey) when it was in stock at “ink and peat” here in Portland a while back. Right now it is hanging pinned to the wall over the bookshelves, but my intention has always been to turn it into a cushion cover…
