Today was a full on Making Friday, not just a duty-bound one, as they often are, where I squeeze in a few hours after I’ve just finished this, and must quickly do that… This time I started early, switched off the computer, played loud music, and cut cut cut all day long.
And as often happens with these papercuts, the leftover bits are lovely too.
Hope you all have a happy weekend.
xx

AMAZING! Truly fabulous. Seriously.
Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
You’re so sweet. Thanks so much, and hope you have a fabbo weekend. xx
Lovely! Spring is in the air!
I love the flowers.
(I think Erin gets her love of craft from her Aunty – beautiful work Heather, as always)
oh WOW.
This is so intricate and beautiful. Amazing. I’m glad you had such a lovely day with good music and cutting time.
Enjoy your weekend.
I always love these ones of the flowers that you do. : )
Thank you! I can’t seem to get away from the flowers – love cutting them. xx
Love these so much!
Just beautiful. I can’t even start to get my head around how you do this!
You probaby already know about Rob Ryan, but in case you don’t: http://ryantownshop.blogspot.com/
Thanks so much, Angela. I do know Rob Ryan’s work, but hadn’t taken a look for a while, so enjoyed catching up with what he’s been up to lately. xx
your papercuts are amazing!!
So beautiful. Will you give us a virtual lesson?
I did a papercutting tutorial some time ago, and you’ll find it at http://skinnylaminx.com/2008/02/12/a-cut-tut/ xx
That is just amazing – do you sell them? It reminds me very much of Angie Lewin’s work – do you know of her?
I tend to just do these cutouts for fun, but I’m sure I’ll find something to do with them soon. I do know Angie Lewin’s work, and am lucky enough to own one of her woodcuts. I’m a huge fan! xx
