We spent the long weekend on a friends’ smallholding in the tiny town of Klipdale. Veggies grew, bean soup was made, bread was baked, geese were fed, puppy was tamed, naps were had and books were read. In between it all, photos were snapped, too.
The chairs at rest pic reminds me of a mutual photographer friend, actually! These really do all add up to a delicious looking weekend, how nice. ooh, makes me want to get out of the city more (although it’s always hard to think of Cape Town as a city city unless you’re in Paarden Island).

You’re quite right! I was totally channelling Mr Southwood when editing that pic. I tried to get his comment, but he managed to evade my advances
