Oh dear. Despite my best intentions for 2013, my Making Friday discipline has not been faring well so, and what I have to offer in this post really is at a bit of a push. Nonetheless, we do what we can with what we have, so here I present my measly Making Friday results from last week:

We’re having a Seconds Sale in the shop this Friday and Saturday, this requires quite a lot of backstage work, prepping a new shop window, thinking about signage, rearranging the shop, etc etc. On Friday I picked up some shopping bags pre-printed with the word SALE to hang in my window. But somehow, it didn’t look Skinny laMinx enough, so I tried cutting the letters out.

Turned out beautifully! But now what to do with all those SSS LLL AAAA EEEE letters?

I had some ideas:

Patterns, mama scissor bird feeding baby chick, and an abbreviation for an elephant. A bit mingy in the making dpt, I’ll admit, but fairly satisfying, nonetheless.
