Best Things: Octopian
Super obscure and hyper intriguing, the Octopian is a limited edition special project magazine created and designed by J3 Productions. To date, two issues of the Octopian have been published, and the analogue versions have both been very generously sent my way by editor in chief, Jonathan Lo (who you may already know from here)
“The Octopian surveys art, technology, architecture, fashion, culture, science fact and fiction. We are in search of modern relics, exploring the history of the future, and documenting evidence of Octopians”.
I believe that I may, in fact, be married to an Octopian, which is why I photographed my copy of the magazine with some of the maquettes and sculptures in Paul Edmunds‘ studio.
See more at the Octopian, where you can order a copy of Analog #2 to add to your shelf of marvellous oddities, as well as to your dreams of cool publishing projects to tackle one day.

Yep, could be! Paul’s work is certainly sometimes ‘super obscure’ and very definitely ‘hyper intriguing’, so I reckon he fits into their category of ‘modern relics’ which may well be ‘the history of the future’. Well done Paul and thank you Heather for bringing those pics into the picture (so to say).
