Black Birds
I made these birds for a show of black and white posters at a small gallery in Cape Town last year. I cut them out of black paper, then turned them into a silkscreen and made an edition of 20. I’ve sold more than half the edition so far.
I’ve also re-used the silkscreen a few times to print tshirts. I taped out some of the birds and just printed one or two at a time, which worked quite well.

Hi! I’m so pleased you like my birds. I’ve been selling these prints (edition of 20) for R350.00. If you’d like one, I’m happy to post to you, adn would add postage costs to the price. Where do you live? I’m in South Africa, where our currency is presently around 13 SA Rand to a British Pound. So along with postage, the total cost would be about 35 pounds.
