Gasp! I won! Not the whole thing of course – that went to the wonderful Thought Leader blog – but yup, Skinny laMinx was voted the Best Blog About Design in the whoooole of South Africa!
Thanks for your votes, and congrats to all the other winners. After the organisers had made a big deal about there being no prizes for this year’s awards, I ended up leaving last night with a bottle of wine, a tree (see above), and a rather spiffy new monitor under my arm. No… no, my prize wasn’t a lizard (with a tree as a prize, anything’s possible), but a 20″ flat screen monitor from Dell. Yippee! PS: Thanks Dad and Mom for the early morning phone call. You’re so sweet!
