I got two mentions in the new edition of Selvedge magazine!
I seem to have been getting loads of amazing publicity lately, and I hope I’m not starting to sound all obnoxious and boastful. But, but … my decals are on the same page as things by Rob Ryan, Tord Boontje and Clarissa Hulse. I’m proud, I have to say!
The lesson is: it’s worth plucking up your courage and going to say hi to the magazine ladies and gents when you’re in town. I popped into the Selvedge offices while in London in May to show them my things. They were so nice, and now they’ve been even nicer! Thanks, Selvedge!
Now, everyone, go and get yourself a subscription – online or otherwise – to this fantastic bimonthly textiles magazine. I’m off to clean the bogs to get my head back down to size…

I’d say it was well deserved. I saw your beautiful pieces at the Nest show, and while I was lucky enought to get a Jesse bowl for my birthday, I would have been very happy to get something of yours too! Keep taking the risks – it is defintely worth it.

Thanks for the advice about courage. It can be so difficult to muster up, but it’s true, putting a face to the name and work and showing your products in the first person can be a winning combination. Helps to have brilliant product as well, an, that, you definitely have!
