So thrilled to have just acquired two paintings by our friend Gabrielle Raaff. These are from her Google Earth series (like this one), which was one of the works selected for the Spier Contemporary show in 2007. Haven’t found where to hang them yet, but am loving peering closely at that delicate watercoloured paper.

Have been eyeing these since you first blogged about a show of hers. We got a set of her 'peripheral' paintings (with all the people) but seeing this makes me want to save to get one of these too! Love the colours and the lines of the shadows of the buildings. (There's always something else, isn't there? And they work so well in a group or a pair!)So beautiful.
