Spot the late night online shopper

    14 Dec 2009

Spot the late night online shopper
It’s summer in Cape Town, and it is hot, hot, hot, and yet, late on Saturday evening, I found myself barefoot and short-sleeved, shopping online for a spotty woollen coat. Mad? Well, only mildly so. My list of justifications is impeccable, after all: It was on sale;  I’d just discovered Boden; their shipping to SA is awfully cheap… and it’s FRIKKEN GORGEOUS! (As is this, and this, and this too)

Now, where’s a Winter when you need one?

PS: Thanks to Zee for getting me into all of this.

I love Boden too. And what a great coat! You'll be ready when winter comes around 🙂

Beautiful coat! Where's winter? Weeell, in the northern hemisphere, definitely! It is freezing cold in Paris (France) right now, and it will get especially cold this week (I'm not complaining, I'm a winter person so I like it!). Funny to imagine you barefoot while I'm wearing two pairs of wool socks :).

Love Boden. Half their pages wind up on my inspiration board every time I get one of their catalogs in the mail.

I was also seduced by the sale. My current Boden coat (lush green velvet) is beginning to look threadbare, and though I have a cord Boden coat ready to take its place, I just couldn't resist buying the purple "Effortless" velvet coat in the sale.

I have just spent the last 40 mins looking at every item thanks to your post. I love that green bike jacket of theirs.

It's been snowing here in Freiburg in Germany today too. We're here on a 6 week holiday while my husband does some study. So I was busy thinking about winter clothes before we came, while everyone else was hoping the Australian bushfire season wouldn't be too bad…
