Sunday morning handwashing

Last week, someone asked me what I liked best about my job, and I said that I like the way it’s made me more alert to looking at things around me and taking time to enjoy them. Maintaining this blog, especially, has made me take the time to look, notice, and, if my camera is around, snap whatever has caught my eye. Not only is it a great way to record things that maybe will turn into a design, or will inform a decision in the future, but I love that I can share what I’ve spotted with whoever reads this blog.

So that’s why, while elbow-deep in my weekend handwashing, it was worth drying off the suds and grabbing my camera to take photos of my dripping wet blouses hanging in the Sunday morning sunlight.

Hoovering, however, didn’t inspire any picture taking 🙂
