Block Shop Pillows
I’m simply crazy about the gorgeous block printed scarves that sisters Hopie and Lily Stockman have been producing under their label Block Shop Textiles, so I’m over the moon to see that they’re now producing block printed pillows too!
The only sadness is that Block Shop doesn’t ship internationally (so many American shops don’t ship internationally. What is up with that?).

I think it’s much more expensive for Americans to ship internationally than it is for people in other countries. The last (small, light) package I shipped internationally was $28–it would have been $35 if I wanted tracking. I swore of international shipping after that. Plus, customs forms are so much harder than they should be. “Oh, the value of the package is less than $50? You should have filled out this nearly identical, but differently colored, form. To the back of the line with you!”

Thanks for the insight. I wonder why they make it so difficult for you guys? Let’s hope they see the light and make the miracle of the international postal system more accessible to us all.

Thank you for the sweetest post and your support! Aw man, we wiiiish we could ship these babies internationally, but the shipping charges for something as big as a pillow are so high for us, and unreasonable to ask of our wonderful overseas customers. We’re working on it with FedEx, though! (And we do ship our scarves anywhere in the world).

Aw, I didn’t mean to sound critical of you guys, and put all the blame on the pesky post office (and thanks to DRL Bennett for her insightful comment on that matter). Let’s hope FedEx comes to the party and helps you spread your beautiful pillows around the globe.
