India Eyes

Often, after getting back from my travels, I get slammed back into working life with barely a minute to catch my breath. This time round, I seem to have had more time than usual to digest and reflect on where I’ve been and what I’ve seen, which I’ve put into two blog posts here and here.

This was my third visit to Jaipur, and while I’m so happy to have been back so often, it’s not great that my bloke hasn’t yet been once, and only two people at Skinny have ever visited India. So that’s why I’ve been thinking a lot about ways I can share my recent good fortune to travel to amazing places. With First Thursday coming up so soon after my return, I had an idea:

How about holding a little Jaipur exhibition in my shop, sharing some of my personal finds, as well as having some treasures for sale. And so . . .

Please come to the Skinny laMinx shop next Thursday 2 November to see my impression of Jaipur through my India Eyes. I have a couple of stories to tell, and impressions to share, and I’d love to keep on enjoying it all by sharing a bit of it with you. There are also tigers and trinkets for sale, and you’ll find out what an Ulloo is too.
