Goodbye to Pearl

Well, here’s a case in point: our long-time finance manager, Pearl Thompson has not lost a jot of charm in the last 13 years!

Pearl and I started working together in 2010, and we’ve weathered all kinds of business and life storms and successes together. Production disasters, opening (and closing) stores, more than 30 employment contracts, licensing deals, family tragedies and joys… and amazingly, we’ve managed to do most of it long-distance.

Soon after we started working together, Pearl moved with her husband to Paris. Then to NYC, and now, she’s moving to Florence!

And it is with this latest move that she’s decided to leave Skinny laMinx.

It’s a really big deal, saying farewell to this clear-minded, steady-handed, loud-laughing friend and colleague after everything we’ve been through. We will miss her sorely, but wish her every marvel and blessing on her new adventures.

Pearl, the world may be your oyster, but you’ll always be the treasure.
