Best Things: Chu Suwannapha

You know when photographs make you feel absolutely starving and greedy, like you want to absorb what you’re seeing through your pores so you don’t miss a thing? That’s how I find myself feeling whenever I see anything Chu Suwannapha puts on his Instagram account, or produces for his label Chulaap.

Chulaap was only launched last year in February, but it seems to have slotted into a space in the design and fashion (and identity) world in South Africa that was simply gaping wide open, and it’s just so exciting for me to see how this is going to grow what we do and how we feel about who we are. Fashion can be powerful stuff, you know!
