You may recall that a little while ago I picked up some oak leaves in the Company’s Gardens on the way home and taped them to paper.
This got pinned to my studio noticeboard for a bit, and then my knife and I had an idea for what we could do with it:
Actually, I’m making lots of paint chip things at the moment, which is great fun. The morally upright amongst you need not be concerned at my wholesale pilfering of paint samples from hardware stores, because Plascon asked me to do it. Will show more pics soon.

This is so lovely, thankfully I am not morally uptight about such pilfering (I’ve spent enough on paint in the last 6 months I feel it is my duty to take the sample cards.) So, I shall stock up and find a suitable sharp implement!
love them. and love that skyline on your board!
Glad you like ‘em, ma’am. xx
I like these and it is a great idea! Those leaves will live for far longer than they thought, plus they get a makeover! Lovely work!
Those paint chip leaves are fantastic! I used to collect the Disney paint chips that look like Mickey Mouse and draw faces on them – such a great canvas!
Pilfer away – they’re gorgeous! Keep up the great work. -e
they look really great – if you didn’t say they were paint chips I wouldn’t of guessed. the white lines adds a nice graphic detail.
I love your new pics.
