    Best Making Day Ever

    6 May 2010

So it was a Making Wednesday not a Making Friday, but I’m finding it difficult to remember the day of the week anyway, so who cares if I broke the rules. I had the Best Making Day Ever, because I spent the entire day not only creatively focussed for the first time in three weeks (I can only do so much holiday), but it was in the company of the fabulously talented and focussed Michelle Engel Bencsko of Cicada Daydream and Cloud 9.

She has a very important short-notice photo shoot on Friday, for which heaps of pillows made of the yummy new Beyond the Sea range she’s designed for her Cloud Nine label are required. And boy oh boy, did we make a heap o’ pillows. It was hard to stop!

In an over-zealous camera clearout on the stalled New Jersey Line train back home, I somehow deleted most of the pics I took as we worked, but all is not lost, as Michelle’s posted a whole heap of the fruits of our labour right here.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to just make stuff yesterday, Michelle. And doing it in your company (and the company of your lovely kids) was even more of a treat. xx

Will go down as one of my best Self-Employed work days EVER! That’s saying a lot because most of them are pretty great. 🙂

      XO!

PS- sorry to hear about your stalled train… now you know why NJ Transit is commonly known as NJ Stranded.

Thanks so much! I could write three times as many posts about all the stuff we’re doing and seeing… but then all I’d be doing is blogging, and I wouldn’t do or see anything. xx

Ok, you people are just weirding me out now: Michelle on your blog, you on Michelle’s…. it’s all very strange.

How cool that you got to work together, though!

This post reflects what I love most about blogland – the chance to talk to and maybe even meet like minded souls around the world. I read her and yours and felt all warm and fuzzy afterwards. I am really enjoying following you around NY 🙂
