Out and About: Junk shop finds
Sometimes I wander down from the shop through Cape Town, just stretching my legs. One place I like to stop in at is the St George’s Bric-a-brac shop next to the Cathedral. I’m trying to not buy things, and find a very good alternative is taking a snap to share with others. So here we go, in the interests of a clutter-free life: my junk shop finds on Friday.

Those birds, the repeating design, the texture… I’m not sure it’s the recipe for a bestselling cover, but I do like looking at it.

Eh? That looks like an ethnic ecclesiastical version of the Skinny laMinx logo!

How intriguing!

But… I don’t have a fireplace.

I am intrigued by the Dahlia in Australia book. It’s gorgeous and a sign of the time given the new types out all the time for that beauty.
