    Imaginary friends

    4 Oct 2017
Over the last year or so, you may have spotted the reverse paper dolls I’ve been making in my studio on a Making Friday. Just for fun, I’ve been drawing a person, then cutting out an item of their clothing to hold over a patterned background, inventing new outfits for them. It’s fun seeing how different surfaces translate into outfits at this scale.

We liked these little buddies so much, we decided to make them into imaginary friends – the Cool Mom, the Design Guy, the Best Friend, the Weekend Chef – each with a colour-themed Skinny laMinx wishlist from our 2017 Gift Guide.
Keep an eye out for the #SkinnylaminxWISHLIST tag on our Instagram and Pinterest feeds to see what each of them want to see in their stocking this year. We hope it’ll give you plenty of ideas for your shopping list too.
