Collaboration: Wren x Skinny laMinx

In this design collaboration, carefree prints & colours from Skinny laMinx & the innovative stitched paper accessories from WREN meet to tell a bright & optimistic story evoking the mood of a breezy Summer stroll along the Sea Point Promenade in Cape Town.

WREN specialises in the innovative use of stitched paper to create personal accessories, including laptop sleeves, wallets and totes. My two designs, Promenade and Meander, and their complimentary solids, have been screenprinted onto paper, then cut and stitched by expert hands in the WREN studio.

The designs came about after I’d stopped one day to sketch the meandering mosaic design on the public bathrooms on the Sea Point Promenade. Click here to read the design story.

I’m so proud to be working with fellow Cape Town business owner Wendren Setzer, whose company and work ethic I have admired for so long. We’ve worked on international trade shows together, and now, working on this optimistic, happy range, has been a privilege.
