    Musica

    29 Sep 2006

At high speed, due to an insane deadline, Jesse and I embroidered these cloths that Jupiter Drawing Room turned into giant posters for Musica. We didn’t do the illustration, just the handwork, and I see that the campaign was awarded a bronze at the recent South African ad awards! Unfortunately, I never got to see it in the flesh.

The posters are clearly highly derivative of work done by Sublime Stitching (thanks for jogging my memory, Jesse!), which makes me a little uncomfortable, but perhaps I’m just a bit of an ad industry virgin, and soon I won’t care whose style I’m being paid to rip off. Hope not. Hope nobody ends up ripping off MY style one day!
