New on Etsy – Bird Tree

    16 Apr 2007

Sheesh, all I seem to do is post about what I’ve put up on Etsy these days. I resolve to become a little less of an advertorial and a little more interesting very soon. Actually, immediately.

Just after this pic of the Bird Tree magnet that’s in my shop now, I’ll tell you something interesting about fridges that’s got nothing to do with magnets.

It’s not only interesting, it’s witty, surprising, lo-tech, and all round hilarious too. Take a look at this to see performance artist, filmmaker, musician and writer Miranda July use the top of her fridge to promote her new book (found through Maile’s blog and also on Happy Mundane).

Lovely! ‘You me and everyone we know’ is one of my favourite movies.

      Hi Heather
thanks for stopping by on my rather confused and all over the place blog. Trying really hard to give it a cohesive vision but at the moment it’s really just a bunch of disparate threads.

I really like your stuff, I actually saw some of it on Apartment Therapy…I hope you do well with your etsy stuff, I may have to buy something soon… you know, because good design compels me to.

Oooh I love this! Your stuff just gets better and better! And don’t worry about your blog being part-advertorial. I reckon it makes perfect sense to post about the work that is obviously good enough to then sell 🙂

this is a nice piece, and your blog has some great links in it too.

i was led here by someone who read your 6weird things post. I totally get your No.3 weird thing! When I was little, if I dropped a piece of food outside I’d break it in half so the other half wouldn’t get lonely. I never ever ever met anyone who could understand, til now!
