Making Friday 29 June
I’ve been freezing my fingers off today, applying ceramic transfers to mugs. While happily occupied, I thought it would be fun to show other people how to do this some time, and really, I have far too many transfers to ever get through myself.
That’s why next Thursday evening, between 5 and 7pm, it’ll be DIY Transfer night at my studio.
Come and join us, and I’ll show you how to apply transfers, and then lend you a pair of scissors and let you run wild through my box of transfers. Afterwards, I’ll get your work fired, and within a week you’ll be drinking out of your very own one-in-a-squillion mug, made by your very own icy fingers.
Spaces are limited to 8, as the studio isn’t huge, and there’s a fee of R275 to cover the cost of the transfers, mugs and firing, and for the the snacks and drinks we’ll have to fuel your creative juices.

Oh so wish I was in CT – planning to come over sometime in the next year or so … when do you usually have your open studio? – what time of year is the most fun to come and hit local craft markets etc – maybe pre-Christmas ?. Do you offer travel agent – holiday planning services?
