Making Friday: Plant shadows

Next week we’ll be launching our new fabric print, called Roof Garden, which is all about the shadows of plants on my studio roof garden.

I can’t wait to share the new design (sign up for the newsletter to be the first to see our amazing campaign photos next week), but in the meantime, here are some of the plant shadow ideas I’ve been playing with over the last few months. Some use torn or cut paper, some use real plants and coloured paper, and some are just beautiful plant shadows I’ve snapped with my phone while walking by – and all these ideas and source material courtesy of the studio roof garden I’ve been tending over the last couple of years.
