Making Friday – on a Sunday

I had a peaceful day catching up with things in the studio on Sunday while Shepherd wielded his paintbrush downstairs, but eventually found myself with time on my hands, and so I dug around on the prop shelves and lined up some interesting shapes for an Instagram moment.

And suddenly, after trying to kill time, I found myself with a brand new idea for a print (see below)! Whether or not this design goes into production, the fact is that it’s fantastic when:

1. Ideas appear when one is least expecting them, and

2. One can justify all the time wasted invested while posting pics on Instagram.
