Making Friday: Ellie, meet ellie
In between packing boxes, approving strikeoffs, planning next year and drinking cups of tea, I had lots of fun with ink, brushes and paper this Making Friday, with a portrait of the little ebony elephant I found at Milnerton Market two weeks ago.
I also made some little framed things for my stand at the Food Wine Design show in Joburg next weekend. Ellie likes them too.

I popped in to help my 92 year old neighbour with her shopping last week Heather and thought of you when I saw her family of ebony ellies all in a row on her mantle piece,she couldn’t recall where she got them but is an avid elephant fan and has a collection of various wooden and ceramic ellies to her name! Have fun in Joburg xox
