He’s the Best!

I’ve had these pics saved for a while, wondering on what premise I could post them on my blog, but now I have reason! My husband’s a champion, well deserving of a blog post, as the story below will illustrate:

I arrived at work this morning, sans phone (again!). I quickly called home to see if I could catch Paul before he left, but the phone just rang and so I resigned myself to a mobile-free day. Soon after, I got a call from the receptionist to let me know someone was here to see me. And blow me down, but who should be there, looking ever-so gorgeous in his Sunday Family shirt and bicycle helmet, was my super-smart husband, phone in hand. Genius.

So you must agree, if ever there was a day to publish two illustrations of said hubby, this must be it.

I made this one as a start to a series of mini cross stitch portraits of people I know that didn’t go much further, but which I must get back onto soon.

And this one was an illustration commissioned by Obrigado magazine to accompany an article about a prestigious sale made by a certain mobile phone delivery guy to MoMA last year.
