Somerset Studio Show

Capetonians alert!

Next Friday, 23 November, is the start of the annual Somerset Studio exhibition, which runs until 25 November. The show is hosted by Carine Terreblanche and Heidi Hesseling in their jewellery workshop and showroom at 67 Somerset Road – that’s one of those beautiful big Victorian houses just opposite the Traffic Department in Green Point.

See more of Carine’s lovely jewellery here, and Heidi’s can be viewed here. I could only find this pic of Christo’s amazing ceramics (which really doesn’t do them justice), and a pic of Julia’s lights was not to be found, although you can read about her art here.

I’m going to be showing teatowels and trays with my designs on them. I’ll post photos of these next week (after all the headaches and damage control is hopefully over. Yikes!)
