Loved the interview and am fascinated about your remark “Most of the things I make I wouldn’t choose for myself”. Imagine the wonderful work you would make if you were doing it for yourself. I used to do the same and I must say since I have been creating art for myself its gone up a notch or 6 and its selling even better than before. (By the way I hail from Kwazulu Natal)
