Rockin’ Flyin’ Cow!

It’s Womens Day today, so it sounds like a good day to announce that Devliegendekoe (aka Nicolette) has given me an award! I’m a Rockin’ Girl Blogger! Wooo!
Ok, I do realise how inappropriate it is to make any link between my blog about pretty things and the courageous women we remember on this day for their protest march on Parliament in 1956. Sorry. But this morning I saw the flower sellers bringing in extra roses and things, which seemed to indicate to me that, 13 years post-liberation, this day is tending towards “Aren’t Women Nice” day anyway. So it goes, right?Anyway, this award is not just about glamour and photo ops. It comes with responsibilities too! I must share the award with another five blog gals. So, here goes:
