I’ve been doing it since 2008 – the Fair Lady magazine horoscopes, and then, once a year, I get to do the horoscope special. This year I did some little cutouts. They’d make nice lino prints, I think.
I think your cutouts are wonderful! Very discrete and yet so detailed! And they all match their sign perfectly well! Great job! 🙂 have a nice friday Heather!
Love them all, maybe gemini and scorpio the best? Or maybe cancer and aries?!
(I’m a Sagittarian and I think you’ve got too many gs and not enough ts, we’re sensitive about that 😉
They’d make beautiful b’day pressie wrapping paper or cards. Cancer (my sign) is gorgeous (and so apt), though I’d also like to be a Gemini or Aries if someone was wrapping my gift… Nice work!
While I’m at it, here are more of the fridge magnets I’ll be selling at the Neighbour Goods Market in Salt River on 23 Sept. Check out the What if the World website for more.
I made a couple of magnets this weekend. The cute little girl magnet holding up my yoga schedule is not mine but isn’t she just adorable? Found at Journey on Long Street. This one I’m in love with. I stuck cork paper (thanks, Jesse) to an adhesive-backed magnetic sheet and cut through with my NT …

Here’s another fridge magnet, cut with my NT cutter from a magnetic sheet. This took a while to make, cos it’s quite big. It feels delicate when you hold it, but I think it’s fairly tough. After making this one, I cut off a lot of the leaves in an attempt to have a minimum …

Well, of course I love them! And I think they’d make super buttons, or magnets or something, too.

Woah, I’m a Sagittarian too, and I’ve been spelling it wrong all these years. You must have a spot of Virgo in there to, to have noticed 🙂

Oh! So clever and subtle! Love the connections you made with traditional imagery, the colours and the theme…. Pretty indeed.
