Making Friday – 2 April
It was out with my trusty knife and signage vinyl on Making Friday for the important task of cutting…
… a bag of oranges? Yes, for no particular reason I felt moved – a mere 13 days before leaving the country on a very extended break, with a To Do list spilling out of my notebook, and a weekend sale to prepare – to spend an entire day (and some of Saturday and Sunday too), cutting an intricate orange mesh.
Ah well, look at it this way: I didn’t have a cut vinyl Bag of Oranges before, and now I have one.

Thanks, Wendren. I like it too (but it did chomp up so much time!) xx

Nice knife! (Like the oranges too, but the knife…!)

The knife is the real deal NT cutter. It requires much snapping off of blades, as it takes just one segment of blade at a time, but it does feel nice to work with a superior piece of hardware like this.

Oh wow! I know how you feel, I had a similar weekend… but I said to myself that sometimes you just have to go with it, act like an impulsive artist for a weekend! Now, back to reality.

YOU’RE SO STINKING CREATIVE! (sometimes I just have to shout).

do you draw that first or just start cutting – well done – so excited for your trip. New York is my favorite city next to Toronto.
