Productive procrastination

I’m a bit worn out after styling and shooting THREE catalogues this year (products 2014/15 due out at the end of the week), and so trying to wrap my head around the idea of a Christmas shoot was just about a bridge too far for me on a Monday morning.

I had some loose palm fronds from one of my props lying about, and instead of getting on with the shoot while the light was good (not easy in mid-winter Cape Town), I had some tea and fiddled around with them instead.

Did someone say #fronds?

Eventually, my subconscious had mercy on me (and my schedule), and I came up with…

… and on I went with my shoot, full steam ahead.
