Saggitarius
The December edition of Fairlady magazine is out, so I can publish my Saggitarius illustration. I put extra care into this one, ‘cos I’m a Sagg myself!
Made using cut paper and vinyl, finished in Photoshop and Illustrator.

wow! This is really cool work! Well done! What part of it did you do in Illustrator? I really need to use it more myself. 🙂

Ha ha. The little sparkle makes it even Gayr!
I just used illustrator to make the arrow shape. I find it quite a useful tool to make things that I’ve forgotten to cut out and scan, because it makes such clean edges, just like a cut with a knife. It’s also so nice to be able to make things huge or tiny and not have horrible pixels to deal with.
I know hardly anything about Photoshop and Illustrator and just hack away wildly most of the time. I’ve got a mammoth illy for Fairlady at the moment that I’m really battling with, but Illustrator’s been brilliant help with making nice Patrick Caulfield-like additions. Deadline tomorrow. Hellllpp!
