The Loerie Awards are the annual South African ad awards. This year, both Jesse and I have ended up with our illustration work getting a fair amount of presence at this year’s Loeries.

We spent much of May making heaps of illustrations for use in the 3-D title graphics being developed by Juju , and we were also both briefed to do an illustration for the Loerie Awards mag, Migrate (along with the Am I Collective) . This is what I made, to fit the one-word brief: Seeking.

I cut the image from vinyl, then scanned and coloured in photoshop. Once I have sorted out my screenprinting difficulties, I’ll be making this image as a 3-colour silkscreen.
