The opposite of blasé

So it’s true, I’ve been ridiculously lucky with all the great press that Skinny laMinx has been getting of late, but all this over-exposure hasn’t left me jaded and ho-hum about it all. Far from it, as is evidenced by how kind of awfully excited I’ve been about two bits of recent press appearances, neither of which even got a text credit, and weren’t much larger than a pixel or two. Seeing my stuff in two print publications I absolutely revere – namely Dwell and ELLE Decoration UK – caused a reaction that was the absolute opposite of blasé (as in: “OMG, eeeeekkk!”)

OMG! Here’s a couple of my cushions lurking behind a bunch of flowers on the pages of ELLE Decoration UK’s October issue. Eek!

And here, barely visible, is one of my napkins peeking out in a photo of the Heath Ceramics store in San Francisco, in the September issue of Dwell magazine. OMG, eeek!
