Bonne Esperance is one of three A3 Risograph prints inspired by the midcentury architectural treasures of the Sea Point Promenade in Cape Town. This print is inspired by by the terrazzo mural high up on the facade of Bonne Esperance Apartments at 187 Beach Road. The mural was designed by artist Erik Loubscher in 1958.
Risograph printing is a spot-colour printing process using rice bran-based inks. This single-colour Riso print was printed by Dreampress in Cape Town on acid free 250gsm paper. It's signed by Heather Moore and sold in an open edition.
