Monkey and Noonoo
My monkey design has had a number of different incarnations so far (see here). This one I made for Paul’s Christmas present last year, with the help of my jeweller friend, Carine Terreblanche. It was brilliant fun, learning about etching on brass.
The result is a bit rough and ready, but Paul seems to like it.
And no, this isn’t going to turn into a kittyblog, but I must report that someone who definitely likes it is the queenly Nanook, who has issued a decree that anything even remotely necklace-like in our home belongs to her, and her alone.
Hmm, actually, I kind of like this kittyblog thing. Watch this space…
