Paranoid?
Oeer. I’ve just read a post over at six and a half stitches about people copying her designs off her blog, and now I’m feeling all creeped out.
After having watched a top retail boss illegally snap 100s of photos at a “young creatives” display at a major design expo last year, I realised that creative theft is really not a problem for some people. Of course, posting my designs on this blog really does leave me rather exposed to that possibility.
Does anyone passing through have any comments or advice to share on this topic? I’d really appreciate it if you do.

Since you asked, here’s my two cents 😉
I guess there always is always a chance someone may rip you off, and I guess it is may be easier in the internet world, but I think copying is always a possibility, wherever your stuff is. I guess you have to measure the risk vs. reward. For me the advantages are feedback, creative outlet, community and possible exposure vs. someone taking advantage.
But I agree the six and a half stitches story totally creeped me out too!
recently found your blog and have been enjoying it!

Thanks for the words of advice. You’re right – anything you put out there runs the risk of being snaffled, but I reckon most readers are like me – they just get a thrill out of seeing what cool stuff other people get up to!
