Pistoles Press
While looking through Etsy yesterday, my eye was caught by this beautiful Japanese woodblock print called Sage Forestscape, by Lana Lambert of Pistoles Press .
I was starting to think I was a pretty dab hand with a blade, but when I saw Lana’s cutout book Arbouricon I (see below), I was left speechless. How does she do it? See more on her Etsy shop here.
Lana tells me that she’s taking part in the Periodic Table Print Project, in which each of the elements in the periodic table is taken on by an individual printmaker. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with.
