Photo comics
I spent yesterday on a farm outside Wellington, shooting the 14th episode of the photo comic I write and shoot for Strika called Weltevreden se Doen en Late.
This morning at work, I’ve been sorting through the pics, and thought I’d share some of them here.
At the farm, the recent rains have brought out fields of arum lilies. I’m told that these attract large herds of wild pigs from the mountains, who dig up the bulbs at night. I brought home an armful (of arums, not wild pigs).
Here’s me and my co-photographer, Fred, hard at work.
And this is us with some of our marvellous cast…
… and some enthusiastic hangers-on.
And in the end, the final product looks something like this:

this is just super… I LOVE the hangers-0n… not sure why you wouldn’t want armfuls of wild pig, though… 😉

This landscape is quite beautiful, as are the faces of the hangers-on.
