Absoluut winners!
It was the rugby World Cup that made me do it! On Saturday night, even before the match began, the streets were filled with cheering and shouting and hooting and blaring vuvuzelas, and the resulting rush of blood to my head caused me to buy these two cushion covers from Absoluut.
And winning the rugby was not the only athletic feat of the weekend.
I’m so proud of Paul for his extraordinary performance in the Rhodes Mountain Bike Challenge on Saturday. He rode this arduous high-altitude race (near Tiffendel ski resort and through Lesotho in parts), on his Surly single speed , proving quite conclusively that gears and shocks are for sissies as he came 14th overall, and 5th in the sub-vets category. Woo hoo!
I hope these cushions get here quickly. Paul’s going to need one – maybe both – to sit on when he gets home!

bah humbug about the rugby…i’d like to say we was robbed, but i think the best team won. although i’d never admit that out loud 😉 i still think our jonny is tastier than your percy the peacock, mind you.
