My deer
My deer
I’ve been loving Nina’s blog lately, and enjoyed her recent post about things deery, so thought I’d show a pic of the tiny carved deer we bought in Thailand a few years ago.
And in totally unrelated news, we have a flokati!
Yes, I know. It’s is an entirely predictable choice for a city-dwelling couple like us, childless and fans of things mid-century, but boy oh boy, it’s nice. Winter’s a whole different place when you’re lying on a shag rug next to the heater, reading a book with cats all over you.

Oh, yours is very very nice as well! And thanks for writing such nice words about my blog!

Wow, what a cool deer! That’s quite a find- I’ve never seen another one like it in Thailand (though there are some beautiful deer in the forests). -X

I have an almost identical flokati… only dirtier, haha. (I got it when I was younger and used to call it flotiki, lol). And I too am city dwelling and cat owning. Good stuff.
