Up next, Nest
Up next, NestJesse and I are hard at work making things for the Nest show opening at Curious, Whetstone and Frankley next Wednesday. Part of the show includes a “soup kitchen”, where you can buy a bowl or mug of soup, and get to keep the receptacle.
Here’s some of my work in progress, which is going off for firing today. You can see some of Jesse’s things here, and read more about Nest at the Curious Whetstone and Frankley site.

Thanks for the positive comments. Whatchabuildin, I do plan to sell some in my shop. I ordered 20 more blanks today – yippee!

These are gorgeous! I’ve been wondering about the transfers — do you know how they respond to being run through a dishwasher lots of times? I know with some of my older plates etc I have to do them by hand or everything comes off eventually. Would hate to ruin one of these beauties.

I love the bowl with the red print! Actually all of them are great.

Yay! The idea is nice too, to sell mug and soup together! There’s this little bar/shop in Amsterdam, where you can buy all the (retro) tableware that your food is served on. i believe you can even buy the tables and chairs… I like that idea!
