Me, bag lady
Me, bag lady
This is a tote bag made from my Colt Check fabric, and it’s available in my Etsy shop now.
Actually, I’ve gone a bit bag nuts lately, and it’s all because of my beautiful linen Green Blot bag from Bookhou, and also thanks to the mailborne arrival of First Bags – a recent acquisition from Japan-based Etsy seller A Little Goodness (she’s got amazing stuff in her store).
Now every spare minute I can steal from my To Do list sees me sewing and unpicking (and unpicking!) bag prototypes like a nut, while neglected deadlines whine ineffectually for my attention.
Here’s studiomate Odette, modelling one of my bag experiments (drawing heavily on my Bookhou bag design) that she’s now happily lugging around Cape Town.
More bags to follow after my day in the studio yesterday…
