My shadow
My shadow
On Monday and Tuesday I was fortunate to have Jane join me from her high school to do a job shadow with me. Collecting transfers, visiting the printers and buying fabric gave her a peek at some pretty grungy parts of the city, but we made up for that with a dose of media glamour at an illustration briefing. Having someone with me all day made me realise what a mad, mad dash my life is, and made me resolve to slow down (again) just a bit.
When Jane left, she gave me this beautiful card that she’d made. Thanks, Jane! Come back any time!
And in other news:
– I haven’t even fired them yet, but can’t resist showing my new ceramic transfer designs, cos I’m loving them so much! See pics on Flickr.
– Thanks for the comments re: political situation here. It is a little alarming, but also exciting, and many analysts seem to feel that something good may result.

What a lovely experience it must’ve been for Jane. I would love to be your shadow for a day. Seriously! Must’ve been nice for an extra pair of hands as well.
I don’t have to say it because you must already know, but I will- love the mugs!
